Trump says he has agreed to suspend ‘bombing and attack of Iran’ for two weeks

[DUBAI/WASHINGTON] US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he had agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran, less than two hours before his deadline for Teheran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face widespread attacks on its civilian infrastructure.
Iranian state TV flashed an announcement claiming that Trump had accepted Iran’s terms for ending the war, describing it as a “humiliating retreat” by the US president.
